Lead and manage large-scale IT delivery engagements, overseeing geographically distributed teams. Ensure successful execution across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using various methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches. Drive project success through robust quality frameworks, potentially including CMMI. Manage diverse service offerings such as application development, maintenance, re-engineering, and migration, while navigating various pricing and engagement models. Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders in North America, providing consultative guidance and solution-oriented approaches. Troubleshoot and resolve critical delivery issues, demonstrating strong commercial acumen and proficiency in effort/cost estimation. Focus on outcomes and people development, driving continuous improvement in delivery excellence and margin enhancement. Manage Project Managers and Leads within a matrix organization, and be open to occasional short-term overseas travel.

A minimum of 15-18 years of IT industry experience in delivery roles, with at least 4 years in program or Line of Business management. Experience managing large, distributed onshore and offshore teams is essential. A strong background in the Financial Services sector is mandatory. Proven experience in setting up and managing medium-sized delivery teams (25+ people) across multiple projects or work streams. Expertise in Java and Microservices is required, with a deep understanding of Java 17 or later, OOPS concepts, Java Multithreading, Design Patterns, Architecture Patterns, Design Principles, and JPA. Familiarity with Java Middleware technologies like Spring Boot and message-oriented middleware (JMS, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, ASB) is crucial. Experience with Unit Testing and development tools like Maven is expected. Proficiency in various project management methodologies (Agile, Iterative, Waterfall, Hybrid) and quality frameworks like CMMI is necessary. Demonstrated ability to manage demanding senior stakeholders, particularly in North American markets. Strong consultative and solutions-oriented mindset, with experience in structuring delivery engagements and resolving critical issues. Excellent commercial acumen, with high proficiency in effort/cost estimation and a strong grasp of project financials and IT services contracts. Robust business communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills are vital. "Hands-on" delivery leadership experience on complex or high-risk projects is a must. Demonstrated change management and continuous improvement capabilities. Experience managing leads/PMs in a matrix environment. Flexibility for occasional, short-term overseas travel.
