Lead delivery engagements with 15-18 years of IT industry experience, including over 4 years in program or Line of Business management for large, geographically distributed teams (onshore and offshore).

Possess a strong background in financial services and experience establishing medium-sized delivery teams (25+ people) across multiple projects or work streams.

Manage projects throughout the full SDLC using various methodologies such as Agile, Iterative, Waterfall, and Hybrid. Ensure adherence to quality frameworks like CMMI.

Oversee diverse service offerings including application development, maintenance, re-engineering, and migration, with experience across different pricing and engagement models. Manage demanding senior stakeholders, particularly with North American clients.

Apply a consultative and solutions-oriented approach, structuring delivery engagements and resolving critical issues. Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, proficiency in estimation, excellent business communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills. Maintain a strong understanding of project financials and IT services contracts.

Provide "hands-on" delivery leadership for complex and high-risk projects, focusing on outcomes and people development. Drive change initiatives for delivery excellence and margin improvement. Manage project managers and leads within a matrix organization and be available for short-term overseas travel as needed.

Demonstrate expertise in Java and Microservices architecture, with a strong command of Java 17 or the latest version. Proficiency in Java Middleware, specifically Spring Boot, and a deep understanding of OOPS Concepts, Java Multithreading, and Design Patterns are essential.

Experience with Message Oriented Middleware technologies such as JMS, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, or ASB is required. Familiarity with architectural patterns within Microservices and core Java design principles and JPA are crucial.

Candidates must possess experience in Unit Testing, using development tools like Maven, and have a solid understanding of architectural patterns and design principles. A proven track record in managing projects across the full SDLC, employing methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid, is mandatory.

Prior experience with quality frameworks like CMMI and managing various service offerings (development, maintenance, re-engineering, migration) is necessary. Experience with diverse pricing and engagement models, along with managing senior stakeholders from North America, is critical.

A consultative, solutions-oriented mindset is key, including experience in structuring engagements and troubleshooting delivery issues. Strong commercial acumen, with high proficiency in effort and cost estimation, is required. Excellent business communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills are vital, alongside a strong knowledge of project financials and IT services contracts.

This role demands "hands-on" delivery leadership for complex/high-risk projects, emphasizing outcomes and people development. The ability to drive change, continuous improvement, and manage leads/PMs in a matrix environment is essential. Flexibility for short-term overseas travel is also a requirement.
