As a Lead Java Engineer, you will define and champion enterprise application architecture strategy using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability. You will lead strategic technical decisions for application modernization, framework selection, and cloud-native adoption.

Key responsibilities include architecting distributed systems and microservices platforms, establishing engineering standards, and leading engineering teams to drive collaboration. You will also drive the implementation of non-functional requirements like scalability and security, lead architecture reviews, and design enterprise messaging and event-driven architectures.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with leadership to align engineering initiatives with organizational strategy, promote DevOps and CI/CD practices, and proactively identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure platform stability.

We are seeking a Lead Java professional with 9-10 years of experience, proficient in Java 8+, backend unit testing (JUnit), data structures, microservices, REST APIs, multithreading, OOPS concepts, Hibernate, Kafka, Git Hub, Oracle, design principles, and Spring Boot with Spring Security (JWT).

Essential competencies include expertise in Core Java, Java Multithreading, API Middleware (Microservices), OOPS Concepts, Message Oriented Middleware (Kafka, JMS, etc.), Spring Boot, Design Principles, and DevOps tools like GitLab/GitHub. A strong understanding of database design with Oracle and proficiency in unit testing are also required.

Behaviorally, you should exhibit strong technical leadership, drive architecture and solution design, and balance delivery accountability with technical excellence. The ability to build and mentor high-performing teams, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and demonstrate strong communication and risk management skills is crucial.
