As a Java Lead, you will define and advance enterprise-level Java application architecture, ensuring robust scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability. You will guide strategic technical decisions for application modernization, framework selection, and cloud-native adoption. Your role involves architecting distributed systems, microservices platforms, and API-driven ecosystems, while establishing comprehensive engineering standards, governance, and secure development practices.

You will lead engineering teams, fostering collaboration across functions and with stakeholders. A key responsibility is driving the implementation of non-functional requirements such as scalability, observability, security, and disaster recovery. You will also lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, and modernization initiatives, ensuring future-ready application landscapes. Collaboration with leadership and enterprise architects is essential to align engineering efforts with organizational strategy. Furthermore, you will champion DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native engineering, and containerization, proactively identifying and mitigating technical risks and architectural gaps for sustained platform stability.

This role requires significant expertise in Java development, including Microservices, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Java 17+, Hibernate, and JPA. You should be proficient in core Java concepts like OOPS, Multithreading, Caching (Redis/Memcache/Hazlecast), Design Patterns, and Design Principles. Experience with Oracle PL/SQL Packages and middleware technologies such as Java Middleware and API (SOAP, REST) is essential.

Familiarity with development tools like Maven and DevOps/Configuration Management tools such as GitLab, Github, or Bitbucket is required. The position demands strong technical leadership, driving architecture and solution design for scalable, secure, and maintainable systems. You must balance delivery accountability with technical excellence, quality, and team collaboration.
