As a Senior Java Engineer, you will design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. Key responsibilities include defining API contracts, developing reusable backend components, optimizing application performance through various techniques, and owning end-to-end module delivery. You will also conduct code reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams, design event-driven architectures, drive CI/CD improvements, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor junior developers.
Your role will involve driving engineering excellence through code reviews, automation, performance optimization, and defect prevention. You will apply strong analytical skills to resolve complex technical challenges and communicate effectively with stakeholders about risks, dependencies, and progress. Adaptability to evolving technologies and a focus on attention to detail in architecture, code quality, security, and performance optimization are crucial. You will also take initiative in developing reusable frameworks and process improvements, balancing technical excellence with business priorities.
We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with mandatory skills in Java 8+, backend unit testing (JUnit), Data Structures, Microservices, REST APIs, Multithreading & Concurrency, OOPS Concepts, Hibernate, Kafka, Gradle, Maven, Oracle, Design Patterns, and Spring Boot with Spring Security (JWT). Essential competencies include strong technical ownership, effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, and driving engineering excellence.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills are required for resolving complex technical and production issues. The role also involves mentoring junior developers on coding standards, debugging techniques, and engineering best practices. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding risks, dependencies, and delivery progress is essential. Adaptability, continuous learning, and a keen attention to detail in architecture, code quality, security, and performance optimization are highly valued. Initiative in developing reusable frameworks, automation, and process improvement is also expected.
