Join our team as a Java Developer specializing in creating secure, scalable, and resilient RESTful APIs with Spring Boot. This role involves close collaboration with product managers, architects, and DevOps teams to build essential backend services for web and mobile applications. We are looking for a candidate with a solid foundation in Java, expertise in the Spring ecosystem, and proven skills in designing and implementing APIs, including experience with GitHub Copilot.

Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, covering Web, Data, Security, and Actuator modules. You will model and integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL), write efficient queries, and manage schema migrations. Implementing robust API security measures such as OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and role-based access is crucial. The role demands writing clean, testable code with comprehensive unit, integration, and contract tests, alongside optimizing for performance and reliability. Ensuring observability through structured logging, metrics, tracing, and health checks is also a core aspect. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, basic Kubernetes concepts, and Azure deployments is required. Collaboration in Agile teams, including grooming, estimation, code reviews, and documentation, is expected. You will own services end-to-end, from design to production support, with an optional on-call rotation.

Essential qualifications include strong proficiency in Java 8+ (ideally 11/17 or later) and Spring Boot, along with knowledge and experience using GitHub Copilot. Candidates should have a proven track record in building RESTful APIs and integrating with various services. A solid understanding of data structures, concurrency, and error handling is necessary. Hands-on experience with RDBMS (like PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORMs (JPA/Hibernate) is required. Proficiency in Git, branching strategies, and build tools like Maven/Gradle is mandatory. Familiarity with API documentation tools (OpenAPI/Swagger) and testing tools such as Postman/Rest Assured is also expected. For senior or lead roles, expertise in API architecture & design, advanced security best practices, scalability & resilience patterns, microservices, message brokers, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native deployments is highly valued.
