Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining scalable Java applications with clean, reusable code aligned with engineering standards. You will build and consume robust RESTful APIs with thorough validation and exception handling. The role involves writing modular, object-oriented code following design patterns and implementing backend integrations for seamless application and database interaction.

Responsibilities also include writing optimized SQL queries for efficient data access and transaction handling, adhering to secure coding practices to minimize defects. You'll perform debugging and root cause analysis for functional and performance issues. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for testing and deployment, active participation in Agile ceremonies, and supporting CI/CD processes are essential.

Continuous learning of modern Java frameworks, tools, and cloud technologies is expected to enhance development efficiency and delivery quality. This role requires proficiency in Java 17+, Microservices, REST APIs, JPA, and Hibernate. Mandatory competencies include expertise in API Middleware (SOAP, REST), Microservices, Java OOPS Concepts, Java Multithreading, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and Design Patterns. Familiarity with DevOps tools like GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket, Maven, and Oracle PL/SQL Packages is also required.
