As a Java Engineer, you will develop and maintain robust Java applications, ensuring code quality, reusability, and adherence to engineering standards. You will build and consume secure RESTful APIs, implementing efficient backend integrations and optimized SQL queries for database interactions. Key responsibilities include writing modular code, applying object-oriented principles, and actively participating in Agile ceremonies.
You will also engage in debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve issues. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for successful testing and end-to-end delivery. Supporting CI/CD processes and continuously learning modern Java frameworks and cloud technologies are integral to this role. A commitment to secure coding practices and application reliability is expected.
We are looking for engineers proficient in Microservices, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Java 17+, JPA, and Hibernate. Mandatory competencies include experience with API Middleware (SOAP, REST), Java OOPS Concepts, Java Multithreading, and Java 17 or later. Familiarity with Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate is essential.
Experience with DevOps tools like GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket, and build management tools such as Maven, is required. Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL Packages and Java Design Patterns is also necessary. Behavioral competencies such as ownership, accountability, effective collaboration, a quality-first approach, continuous learning, proactive communication, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, initiative, and adaptability are highly valued.
