A strong background in Java and microservices is essential for success in this position.

Key responsibilities include developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. You will write clean, efficient Java code, primarily using Spring Boot, and collaborate with QA and fellow developers to create effective solutions. Working within a scrum framework, you'll deliver assigned stories while adhering to coding standards and maintaining code efficiency. Documenting frameworks for change implementation and integration requirements will also be a crucial part of this role.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in developing Java and microservices applications, with a significant portion of this experience gained within the banking domain. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required for effective client interaction. A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree or equivalent, with English as a compulsory subject, is necessary. Experience with REST APIs, Maven/Gradle, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Kafka/JMS, Angular, and lifecycle management tools like JIRA and GitHub is essential. Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure) and experience with CI/CD pipelines are also required. Familiarity with OpenShift or PCF, along with strong problem-solving skills and experience in Scrum/Agile environments, are critical.
