This role is pivotal in designing, building, and maintaining robust APIs and microservices that are essential for data access and integration within a Fortune 500 company, supporting its growing AI/ML and data initiatives.

Key responsibilities include architecting and developing APIs for secure and efficient data exchange, defining data API structures and endpoints to meet specific business requirements, and implementing code using appropriate technologies. You will also be responsible for automating test coverage to over 90% for unit, functional, and integration tests, as well as automating CI/CD processes to ensure best practices are followed.

We require candidates with over 10 years of software development experience, including a minimum of 5 years focused on designing, developing, deploying, and operating large-scale data processing pipelines. Essential skills include proficiency in web service design using YAML and ODATA, building microservices with Springboot and GraphQL, and a strong understanding of microservice architecture. Experience with containerized deployments (on-cloud, on-premise, hybrid), database integration (Cassandra, RDBMS), streaming platforms (Kafka), and CI/CD tools like Maven and Jenkins is crucial. Familiarity with disaster recovery strategies and IT resiliency experiments is also important.
