Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining robust RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, covering Web, Data, Security, and Actuator modules.

You will model and integrate with various databases, write efficient queries, and manage schema changes. Implementing API security features like OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT, alongside role-based access control and rate limiting, is crucial. Writing clean, testable code with comprehensive unit, integration, and contract tests is expected.

Performance optimization, including caching and connection pooling, and ensuring observability through structured logging, metrics, and health checks are vital. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and basic Kubernetes concepts for cloud deployment is also essential. You will actively participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and service ownership from development through production support.
