We are seeking a talented Java developer with a focus on creating secure, scalable, and resilient RESTful APIs using the Spring Boot framework. This role involves close collaboration with product managers, architects, and DevOps teams to deliver robust backend services that power both web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate possesses strong Java fundamentals, extensive Spring ecosystem experience, and practical skills in API design and implementation, including proficiency with GitHub Copilot.

Key duties include designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs with Java and Spring Boot, integrating and modeling data with SQL/NoSQL databases, and implementing robust API security measures. You will also write clean, testable code, optimize performance and reliability, and ensure observability through structured logging and tracing. Experience with CI/CD, cloud deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure), and Agile collaboration is essential. The role encompasses end-to-end service ownership, from initial design to production support.

Essential qualifications include strong knowledge of Java 8+ (ideally 11/17 or later) and Spring Boot, along with experience using GitHub Copilot. Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating with various services is required, alongside a solid understanding of data structures, concurrency, and error handling. Proficiency with RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL), ORMs (JPA/Hibernate), Git, Maven/Gradle, and API documentation tools like OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman, or Rest Assured is necessary. Senior or lead candidates should also demonstrate expertise in API architecture, security best practices, scalability patterns, microservices, message brokers, and cloud-native deployments.
