Join our team as a Java Developer, focusing on crafting secure, scalable, and robust RESTful APIs with Spring Boot. This role is central to developing the backend services that power our web and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and DevOps teams, bringing your expertise in Java fundamentals, the Spring ecosystem, and hands-on API design and implementation, including experience with GitHub Copilot.

Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, and integrating with various databases (SQL/NoSQL). You will implement robust API security measures, write clean, testable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests, and optimize for performance and reliability. Ensuring observability through structured logging and metrics, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployment are also crucial. Collaboration in Agile teams, participating in grooming, estimation, code reviews, and documentation, along with end-to-end service ownership, are integral to this position. On-call rotation is optional.

We are looking for strong proficiency in Java 8+ (preferably 11/17 or later) and Spring Boot, alongside practical experience with GitHub Copilot. Essential skills include building RESTful APIs, integrating services, and a solid grasp of data structures, concurrency, and error handling. Hands-on experience with RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORMs (JPA/Hibernate) is required, as is proficiency with Git, branching strategies, Maven/Gradle, and familiarity with API documentation tools like OpenAPI/Swagger and Postman. Experience with concepts like API architecture, security best practices, scalability patterns, microservices, message brokers, and cloud-native deployments is highly advantageous.
