You will collaborate with product managers, architects, and DevOps to build backend services that power web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate possesses strong Java fundamentals, experience with the Spring ecosystem, and proven skills in API design and implementation.

Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining RESTful APIs with Spring Boot, integrating with databases (SQL/NoSQL), and implementing robust API security measures (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT). You'll write clean, testable code with comprehensive testing, optimize performance, and ensure observability through structured logging and metrics.

This role involves working in Agile teams, participating in grooming, estimation, and code reviews. You will also be responsible for end-to-end service ownership, from development to deployment and production support, with an optional on-call rotation.

Required qualifications include a strong grasp of Java 8+ (preferably 11/17+) and Spring Boot, along with experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with various services. A solid understanding of data structures, concurrency, and error handling is essential.

Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and build tools like Maven or Gradle is expected. Familiarity with API documentation tools such as OpenAPI/Swagger and testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured is also required.
