Join our team as a Java Developer focused on crafting secure, scalable, and resilient RESTful APIs using Spring Boot. You will collaborate with product managers, architects, and DevOps to build the backend services that power both web and mobile applications. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid grasp of Java fundamentals, experience within the Spring ecosystem, and practical skills in API design and implementation, including the use of GitHub Copilot.

Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining robust RESTful APIs with Java and Spring Boot, encompassing Web, Data, Security, and Actuator modules. You will model and integrate with both SQL and NoSQL databases, optimize query performance, and manage schema migrations. Implementing comprehensive API security measures like OAuth2/OIDC and JWT is crucial.

Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and contract testing. Optimize application performance and reliability using techniques such as caching, connection pooling, and asynchronous I/O. Implement observability through structured logging, metrics, tracing, and health checks.

Participate actively in CI/CD processes and cloud deployments, with exposure to Docker, basic Kubernetes concepts, and Azure being essential. Collaborate effectively within Agile teams, contributing to grooming, estimation, code reviews, and documentation. You will own services end-to-end, from initial design through deployment and production support, with on-call rotation being an optional aspect.

A strong foundation in Java 8+ (preferably 11/17 or later) and Spring Boot is essential. Prior experience with GitHub Copilot is also required. You should have proven experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating with various services.

A solid understanding of data structures, concurrency principles, and effective error handling is expected. Proficiency with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, along with ORMs such as JPA/Hibernate, is necessary.

Familiarity with Git, including branching strategies, and build tools like Maven/Gradle is required. Experience with API documentation tools like OpenAPI/Swagger and testing frameworks like Postman/Rest Assured will be beneficial. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, is needed.
