As a Systems Engineer focusing on fleet management, you will ensure the operational health, compliance, and lifecycle of infrastructure fleets. Your role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory, proper governance, and adherence to operational standards across a worldwide footprint.
This position blends hands-on systems engineering with a strategic, fleet-level operational perspective. You will tackle complex systems challenges spanning hardware, software, networking, and cloud environments, while developing automation to enhance scalability and reliability.
Take full ownership of the operational health and compliance of infrastructure fleets, including meticulous inventory management, lifecycle tracking, and adherence to governance standards.
Diagnose and resolve intricate systems issues across diverse environments, ensuring root cause analysis and effective remediation.
Develop and implement automation solutions to scale fleet operations, covering device discovery, compliance scanning, health monitoring, and lifecycle reporting.
Create, refine, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and documentation to guarantee consistent and repeatable operations globally.
Identify performance, reliability, availability, and compliance trends within the fleet and deploy automation to address these challenges at scale.
Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing fleet health, compliance posture, and overall operational efficiency, demonstrating measurable improvements.
Possess at least 4 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Systems Engineering, Systems Administration, DevOps, Security Administration, or Network Administration.
Demonstrate 5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.
Showcase 5+ years of comprehensive systems engineering experience.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or possess equivalent relevant work experience.
Exhibit proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or equivalent, for automation and tooling development.
