Join Amazon's IT Services team as a dynamic and motivated IT Support Engineer. This role is crucial for assisting Amazon employees with all their technical needs, ranging from desktops and laptops to network services and software.
You will be instrumental in maintaining Amazon's internal solutions and resolving employee technical issues, working closely with service managers and other staff. The team also oversees the management of on-premise infrastructure, including servers, network devices, telephony, and printers.

Provide comprehensive Helpdesk support through tickets, walk-ins, and remote assistance for Amazon's expanding user base across multiple sites.
Effectively manage service provider engagements to ensure timely and efficient resolution of support requests.
Execute routine processes such as new hire onboarding, computer lifecycle management, asset tracking, system imaging, warranty support, and hardware recycling.
Contribute to the development and implementation of processes that ensure the reliability and optimal performance of user hardware and local services.
Collaborate with the IT Operations team to meet system Service Level Agreements (SLAs), participating in an on-call rotation for production support.
Research, acquire, evaluate, and deploy new hardware and software solutions.
A customer-focused IT Support Associate is sought, adept at Windows, Mac, and Linux OS deployment, remote technical support, and comprehensive user hardware/software/peripheral assistance. Expertise in LAN troubleshooting and hardware asset management is essential.
Maintain detailed documentation while managing a high volume of urgent requests, demonstrating innovation, energy, and adaptability in adopting new processes.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision, and maintaining high productivity, even in ambiguous situations.

Basic Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems in a corporate environment. - Proven experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems. - Experience maintaining Zebra thermal printers and troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
