The IT Service Desk is a vital component of Amazon's IT infrastructure, providing comprehensive support across various regions. This team utilizes a modern, omni-channel contact center to deliver streamlined IT support to associates worldwide and support Amazon Lockers. Your contributions will be essential to maintaining Amazon's high standards of service.
Key responsibilities include maintaining clear and concise communication with internal customers across APAC, EMEA, and AMER operational and IT teams. Strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is paramount for ensuring consistency and efficiency in daily tasks.
You will be responsible for basic troubleshooting of end-user devices like desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners. A fundamental understanding and troubleshooting capability for Windows and Linux operating systems are essential. The role involves working a 5-day week with scheduled days off varying based on shift patterns to support 7-day operations.
Meeting critical IT Service Desk goals, including Response and Resolution Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), and effective incident management, is a core part of this position. This role is based at the Bangalore (BLR18) Corporate office.
A Bachelor's degree is required for this position. Candidates must possess strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
We are looking for a minimum of one year of experience in a Service Desk or technical support role. Basic knowledge of IT troubleshooting for end-user devices and operating systems like Windows and Linux is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include a basic understanding of ITIL-based ticketing and monitoring tools, as well as fundamental networking troubleshooting skills. This is an onsite role at our Bengaluru, KA, India location.
