We are seeking an experienced IT Lead to establish and manage Sarvam's internal IT and IT-security functions. This pivotal role involves building out our identity, endpoint, network, and data protection capabilities, along with the necessary audit and compliance machinery. The goal is to ensure seamless adherence to standards like SOC 2 and ISO 27001, as well as client and regulatory requirements.

This hands-on, foundational role requires you to personally set up tooling, develop operational procedures, and manage controls in the initial phase. As the company scales, you will lead a lean team. Key responsibilities include:

- Overseeing Identity, Tools & Access management, including IdP administration, MFA enforcement, and Joiner-Mover-Leaver automation. - Managing Endpoint security across Mac, Windows, and Linux, encompassing MDM, EDR operations, disk encryption, and privilege management. - Administering Network, Cloud & Remote Access solutions like ZTNA, VPN, DNS filtering, and cloud tenant security. - Implementing Data Protection measures such as DLP and SASE/SWG. - Leading Audit & Compliance efforts, focusing on ISO 27001/SOC 2 evidence, asset lifecycle management, and vendor security reviews. - Driving IT Operations including SIEM log forwarding, ITSM discipline, incident response, and IT system resilience (BCP/DR).

We are looking for candidates with a strong track record in audit participation, particularly within financial and regulated entities (BFSI/fintech). Demonstrable experience in managing SOC 2 and/or ISO 27001 evidence operations is essential.

Key qualifications include: - Deep IT administration expertise in identity, endpoint, and operational stacks. - Proven vendor management skills, including security reviews and contract accountability. - Proficiency in networking, cloud, and SaaS administration. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clear runbooks and explain technical controls to non-technical audiences. - A proactive mindset for building functions from scratch (0→1).

Bonus points for scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, ZTNA, and DLP tooling at scale, especially within high-growth or regulated environments.
