Our global finance function is undergoing a major transformation, with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud serving as the core ERP platform. This exciting opportunity focuses on driving efficient period-end closes through continuous improvement, expanding SAP capabilities, increasing automation, and exploring advanced technologies like generative AI. You will ensure accurate accounting transactions, maintain system configurations, and collaborate closely with the global finance organization.

We are seeking a professional with extensive experience in finance systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA, and a strong understanding of financial accounting principles. Your ability to translate business priorities into product roadmaps and manage backlogs will be crucial for success.

Lead production support for SAP Financials, focusing on FI modules within SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. Develop deep expertise in the SAP Financials solution, managing system configurations and ensuring alignment with business and functional changes.

Analyze and solve complex business problems, providing appropriate solutions to stakeholders. Interpret functional specifications from the product development team and establish a robust support model. Design requirements for product owners to address system defects and delivery gaps.

Manage system defects by initiating OSS Cases/Incidents with SAP, escalating, and deploying hot fixes as needed. Oversee testing and release of upgrade-related changes, aligning their impact on functional processes with relevant owners. Participate in transformation meetings for new market go-lives. Develop subject matter expertise and create knowledge support documentation for team mentoring.

A proven track record as a Finance System Manager with expertise in SAP products. Possess finance domain experience with an engineering/technical background, or a Master's/MBA in Finance & Accounting.

Require 7-8 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA, demonstrating technical and functional expertise in finance data flows. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role.

In-depth understanding of financial accounting components within SAP FI, including General Ledger (FI-GL), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Intercompany, Tax, and Enterprise Structure, along with integration with modules like SD and AP, is highly advantageous. Experience managing month-end period close activities for a global finance function is expected.

Proficiency in troubleshooting application jobs and resolving system issues. A strong grasp of the Business Partner concept, Bank Account Management, and Cash Position/Flow Analysis is beneficial. Experience with FIORI apps and S/4HANA is preferred, and a certification in SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting is desired.
