As an IT Applications Service Manager, you will oversee day-to-day application support (L2/L3) across diverse healthcare domains including Clinical, Ancillary, Population Health, and Enterprise applications. You will be responsible for managing ITIL processes like Incident, Problem, and Change Management, ensuring timely resolutions and continuous improvement through Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Key duties involve maintaining SLA/KPI compliance, acting as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, and understanding crucial healthcare workflows. This includes managing vendor relationships, conducting service reviews, and engaging with clinical leaders. You will also lead and mentor L2/L3 support engineers and SMEs, ensuring robust team performance and adherence to compliance and risk management protocols.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in application support, project management, or IT service delivery within the healthcare sector. A strong understanding of clinical operations, EHR systems (Acute and Ambulatory), critical care, nursing, surgical services, and regulated healthcare environments is essential.

Hands-on expertise in ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, and Change Management is required. Experience supporting COTS healthcare applications and managing multi-vendor ecosystems is crucial. You should possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, along with familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, healthcare data governance, and security/privacy compliance.

This role requires coordination of patching, upgrades, release cycles, and multi-environment deployments. Flexibility with shift timings and potential overtime/weekend work based on business needs is also expected.
