This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing robust integration solutions that ensure seamless and secure data exchange across various systems and partners. You will be instrumental in driving digital transformation by enhancing system connectivity, data integrity, and overall operational efficiency.
As an Integration Engineer, you will provide expert consultative services, bridging business and system requirements to deliver effective solutions. You will translate complex customer needs into actionable business and technology strategies, guiding discussions on transformation, customer journeys, and functional/application designs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and deploying sophisticated integration solutions. You will collaborate closely with clients, IT teams, and stakeholders to accurately define integration requirements.
Analyze customer needs and provide strategic advice to business units. Thoroughly test, debug, and troubleshoot integration solutions to ensure optimal performance. Set up and resolve issues with communication protocols, while translating mapping instructions into functional solutions.
Ensure adherence to established standards and methodologies. Address bugs, perform maintenance, and implement change requests effectively. Offer technical consulting and troubleshooting expertise. Document all specifications and development processes comprehensively.
A strong foundation in integration technologies is essential, including a solid understanding of EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, and JSON. Familiarity with SFTP, HTTPS, AS2, REST, and SOAP is also crucial.
Proficiency in Linux environments and experience with XSLT or data transformation techniques are required. A comprehensive understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles is necessary.
Candidates must possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail in data mapping. Excellent communication skills, particularly in English, are vital. Experience in logistics or supply chain environments is considered a beneficial asset. A minimum of 3 years of direct experience with Apache Kafka is mandatory.
