Key responsibilities include contributing to Skills Needs Analysis conversations and documenting essential insights. You will assist senior instructional designers in leading these analyses and drafting clear learning objectives. A significant part of the role involves preparing Design Specifications and independently reviewing learning designs against EY's quality checklist. You will be responsible for drafting various learning deliverables, including leader guides, participant materials, storyboards, and video scripts, ensuring they align with design specifications.
Furthermore, you will develop assessments and practice questions based on learning objectives, meticulously reviewing all materials for content flow, accuracy, language, and adherence to standards. Independently liaising with Subject Matter Reviewers for technical reviews and assessing storyboards against quality standards are also crucial. You'll gain proficiency in creating and editing self-study programs using rapid authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise, while applying foundational eLearning skills under guidance. Exceptional writing and communication skills are vital for interacting with graphic designers, senior IDs, and SMRs. Active participation in team meetings, contributing to collaborative efforts, and adapting to new design recommendations based on rationale are expected.
To excel in this role, a minimum of 1 to 4 years of experience in designing courses and other learning items is required. Prior experience in assisting with the design of effective learning solutions across various modalities is essential. You must possess proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and have a foundational understanding of rapid authoring tools. The ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments and deliver required results under pressure is critical.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are necessary for crafting effective instructional text and facilitator materials.
