We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee critical aspects of our IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, storage, and backup solutions. If you're passionate about system reliability and possess a keen eye for detail, this opportunity is for you.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be instrumental in administering enterprise systems such as Linux/Windows servers, virtualization platforms, storage, and backup solutions. Your duties will include implementing OS hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation, as well as supporting certificate and secrets renewal.

You will monitor system health, availability, capacity, and performance across various infrastructure platforms. Troubleshooting incidents, performing root cause analysis for server, storage, backup, and access-related issues will be key. Additionally, you will manage user access, permissions, groups, service accounts, and privileged access in alignment with security policies, and execute backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity support activities.

Maintaining system inventory, configuration records, runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation is crucial. You will also support change management activities, coordinate with various technical teams to resolve infrastructure dependencies, and participate in on-call rotations, shift handovers, escalations, and production support to ensure continuous service.

To excel in this role, you should possess mandatory skills in VMWare, ESXI, Netbackup (NBU), Windows Administration, Nagios/MON tools, and Data Center & Hardware Support. Preferred skills include Linux Administration, Shell Scripting, Opsgenie/PagerDuty, Octopus/Jenkins (for pipeline configuration and execution), AWS, and Azure.

We expect candidates to provide reliable day-to-day operational support for production and non-production infrastructure environments, responding to incidents, service requests, alerts, and escalations within agreed SLA timelines. Participation in shift-based support, on-call coverage, weekend maintenance, and planned production activities is also required.

Smooth shift handovers, adherence to standard operating procedures, change management processes, access control policies, and security guidelines are essential. A proactive approach to monitoring systems and taking preventive actions to minimize outages, performance issues, and recurring incidents is highly valued.
