NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on enhancing platform stability and resilience through standardized vulnerability management and remediation processes.

The team is actively developing an Ansible-based toolset to automate enterprise-wide patching, aiming for increased efficiency and consistency across the environment. This position is integral to the broader ICRE remit, covering infrastructure reliability, security, resilience, vulnerability management, patch remediation, and infrastructure automation within a 100% AWS environment.

Join an established team to quickly acclimate to current environments and processes. Take direct ownership of patching volumes and critical vulnerability remediation tasks. Function as a hands-on engineer, actively contributing to technical solutions rather than supervisory roles. Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of Ansible playbooks and automation scripts. Gradually broaden responsibilities and expertise as understanding of the environment deepens. Become a key member of the core foundation team, with patching as the immediate strategic priority. Develop and maintain Ansible AWX job templates, playbooks, roles, inventories, and workflows to enable large-scale automation of patching and remediation.

We are looking for hands-on engineers with approximately 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.

Essential skills include proven enterprise patching and vulnerability remediation experience. The preferred technology stack encompasses: - Patching / Vulnerability Remediation (Must Have) - Ansible / Ansible AWX - AWS - Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code - Linux and/or Windows infrastructure - Automation and scripting

Candidates should also possess the ability to actively participate in technical stand-ups and Agile ceremonies. Supporting automation skills such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, APIs, JSON/YAML, Git, and CI/CD are highly relevant. Demonstrating real-life scenarios where you have personally executed patching, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure automation is crucial.
