NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to enhance platform stability and resilience. This role focuses on standardizing vulnerability management and remediation processes, utilizing an Ansible-based toolset for enterprise-wide patching. The position is integral to an AWS-centric environment, covering reliability, security, and automation.

As an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer, you will integrate into the existing team, gaining a thorough understanding of the environment and current processes. Key responsibilities include taking ownership of patching volumes and vulnerability remediation tasks. You will actively contribute as a hands-on engineer, focusing on developing and enhancing Ansible playbooks and automation for scalable patching and remediation.

This role also involves developing and maintaining Ansible AWX job templates, roles, inventories, and workflows. You will be expected to expand your remit over time as your experience and understanding of the environment deepen. The primary goal is to contribute to the core foundation team with an immediate strategic focus on patching.

We are looking for hands-on engineers with 5-8 years of relevant experience. Essential skills include proven enterprise patching and vulnerability remediation experience. Proficiency in the preferred technology stack is crucial, encompassing Patching/Vulnerability Remediation, Ansible/Ansible AWX, AWS, and Terraform/Infrastructure-as-Code.

Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows infrastructure, automation, and scripting is required. Candidates should demonstrate practical experience in real-life scenarios involving patching, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure automation. Strong communication skills for effective participation in technical stand-ups and Agile ceremonies are also important. Supporting automation skills such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, APIs, JSON/YAML, Git, and CI/CD are considered highly relevant.
