In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our systems by monitoring security events and alerts using SIEM and security tools. You'll perform in-depth log analysis and event correlation across diverse platforms, identify potential threats, and conduct thorough triage activities to assess and prioritize security incidents. Your responsibilities will include supporting the full incident management lifecycle, investigating various cyber threats, and applying frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to understand attack techniques. Analyzing operating system logs, utilizing basic scripting for analysis, and applying networking fundamentals are key aspects. You will also contribute to security awareness initiatives, maintain comprehensive documentation, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

We are seeking a proactive individual with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, a security-first mindset, and a commitment to ownership and accountability. Essential skills include expertise in ICS Analytical / Problem Solving, Incident Management, Security Awareness and Training, Log Analysis & Correlation, SIEM & Security Tool Utilization, Threat Detection & Triage, and Use Case & Detection Understanding. A solid grasp of MITRE ATT&CK, cyber kill chain concepts, Windows and Linux OS logs, basic scripting, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, ports, protocols) is required. Demonstrating adaptability, clear communication, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach are crucial for success in this dynamic environment.
