Seeking a seasoned Infor XA Technical Consultant with extensive AS400 development and Infor XA ERP expertise. This role requires hands-on experience in application development, production support, and understanding manufacturing business processes within an enterprise context.

The consultant will play a key role in delivering technical solutions and ensuring the smooth operation of the Infor XA environment.

Analyze business requirements to deliver effective technical solutions within the Infor XA framework. Participate actively in requirement gathering and solution design sessions. Develop, enhance, and maintain AS400 applications using RPG, CL, DB2, and SQL, ensuring high quality and performance. Design and support critical integrations utilizing Infor XA IDF and System Link capabilities. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and project teams to achieve project goals. Provide comprehensive production support, including debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues like job failures (MSGW). Conduct root cause analysis for recurring problems and implement robust corrective and preventive actions. Adhere to Agile development methodologies, actively participating in sprint planning and execution. Utilize JIRA for efficient task tracking and project coordination. Follow established SDLC processes, coding standards, and maintain thorough documentation. Support testing, deployment, and post-production activities to ensure successful implementations.

Demonstrated expertise in AS400 technologies including DB2/400, RPG/400, CL/400, ILE/400, and SQL/400. Proven experience with Infor XA ERP, including IDF Development and System Link. Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes in an enterprise setting. Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and other change management tools is beneficial. Solid grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), production support, and troubleshooting techniques.
