Seeking an experienced Network Engineering Specialist Advisor to enhance our network security operations. This role focuses on the daily maintenance and operational support of complex network security infrastructure for multiple clients, utilizing leading vendor solutions. You will be instrumental in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting network traffic and security implementations, ensuring robust protection and optimal performance.

Manage and resolve network security incidents, changes, and problems according to ITIL best practices. Implement and maintain network security solutions, including Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, and cloud proxy services like Netskope. Leverage expert knowledge of Palo Alto features such as URL filtering, vulnerability protection, AV, and anti-spyware profiles, alongside strong App-ID proficiency. Troubleshoot complex firewall and network traffic issues using packet captures and debug tools. Provide technical escalation and guidance to L2 support engineers. Develop custom Palo Alto queries for reporting and conduct system maintenance and health checks. Offer on-call support in a 24x7 environment and ensure adherence to SLAs and operational standards. Propose service, process, and technical improvements to management.

Possess at least 12 years of extensive experience in Network Security administration and 7 years in Network & Security administration, with a minimum of 12+ years of network troubleshooting experience. Demonstrate hands-on expertise with Palo Alto, Prisma, and Fortinet firewalls, along with a solid understanding of template/stack architecture. Exhibit strong troubleshooting skills specifically for Palo Alto Firewalls and network traffic flows. Familiarity with authentication protocols (LDAP, IWA, SSO, Active Directory) and operating systems (Windows, Linux) is essential. Require at least two mid-level network security certifications from vendors like Cisco, Palo Alto, or Fortinet (e.g., CCNP Security, PCNSE). A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is necessary. Excellent time management and customer-facing communication skills are crucial.
