Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications using C# and .NET Core. You will build and enhance scalable REST APIs and develop integrations with enterprise systems like iLEVEL and internal workflow tools. Implement solutions using event-driven architecture principles and leverage AWS services such as Lambda, S3, SQS, and RDS for cloud-native development.

Collaborate effectively with product managers, business analysts, architects, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Ensure application performance, security, and maintainability while building reusable components. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and participate in code reviews and technical design sessions.

Contribute to testing, deployment, and operational readiness, and create comprehensive technical documentation. Mentor junior team members and champion engineering best practices within the team.

We require a strong backend engineering background with a minimum of 8 years of software development experience, specifically in C# and .NET Core. Proven expertise in REST API development and experience integrating enterprise systems, including iLEVEL and internal workflow tools, are essential. A solid understanding of event-driven architecture and hands-on experience with AWS services like Lambda, S3, SQS, and RDS are crucial.

Familiarity with application integration patterns, service-oriented design, and relational databases is expected. Knowledge of secure coding standards, API security, and source control systems such as Git is also required. Experience with unit testing, integration testing, debugging practices, and working in Agile/Scrum environments is necessary.

Preferred qualifications include experience in financial services or investment systems, familiarity with message-based processing, and exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are vital for this role.
