The Associate Consultant – Techno-Functional Business Analyst will serve as a crucial link between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of business analysis principles, application functionality, data interpretation, and the complete software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, quality assurance, and project managers to effectively gather requirements, streamline business processes, and ensure successful delivery of solutions.

Key responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements. You will translate these requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and technical requirements. Preparing process flows, use cases, and data mappings is also essential. Collaboration with business users, developers, and QA teams is vital.

You will conduct basic data analysis and validation using SQL and Excel. The role also involves supporting application enhancements, integrations, and analyzing production issues. Assisting with functional testing, system integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is part of the daily duties. You will actively participate in Agile ceremonies and track project activities using Jira and Confluence. Maintaining comprehensive functional and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle is expected.

This position requires 0-6 months of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and functional documentation. A similar experience level with SQL, data analysis, and data validation is also necessary. Prior experience in preparing user stories, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications is expected.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, Confluence, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes is a prerequisite. While not mandatory, a basic understanding of APIs, REST services, system integrations, and relational databases would be beneficial. Exposure to application development, production support, UAT, defect management, reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
