As a Senior Analyst in I&F Decision Science Practitioner, you will analyze and resolve increasingly complex problems. Your daily interactions will primarily be with peers within Accenture, with potential for client and/or Accenture management engagement. You will receive minimal direction for daily tasks and moderate guidance for new assignments.
Decisions you make will influence your own work and may affect others. This role involves individual contribution, potentially overseeing small work efforts or teams. You will be instrumental in delivering impactful solutions that drive business value.
We are seeking professionals with expertise in Retail Supply Chain, Databricks, Forecasting, Time Series, and Statistical Modeling. Prior experience with Oracle Retail Demand Forecasting (RDF) is highly desirable.
Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is essential. A strong understanding of at least four of the following techniques is required: Classification, Regression, Clustering, Neural Networks, Dimensionality Reduction Techniques, Ensemble Modelling (random forest, boosted tree, etc.), Natural Language Processing, and Forecasting.
Candidates must possess proficiency in Time Series Forecasting and have hands-on experience in Retail Supply Chain Demand Forecasting (in-season and pre-season), Location Planning, Assortment Planning, and Demand Planning for new and existing stores. Excellent English communication and articulation skills are a must.
Basic knowledge of various machine learning/data science models, data mining, and unstructured data analytics from corporate or academic research is expected. We are looking for 1-4 years of professional experience in Retail Forecasting projects.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to understand, manage, and navigate large datasets, think creatively to solve real-world business problems, and thrive in a global collaborative team environment. Statistical programming experience in Python and data visualization skills using Power BI are also key requirements. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a Master's in Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics/Data Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or hold a Post-graduate certification in Data Science/Business Analytics.
