This Senior role focuses on multi-country Corporate or Group Accounting processes, including General Ledger, Trial Balance/Balance Sheet reconciliation, month-end procedures, Journal Entries, and preparation of Management Packs and Financial Statements. You'll have the opportunity to enhance processes through lean ideas and maintain uncompromising controls and quality.

Manage end-to-end accounting activities, encompassing Group Accounting, month-end closing, financial reporting, Balance Sheet reconciliation, and year-end closing. You will possess a strong grasp of GL, AP, and AR functions, guiding team members. Expertise in ERP systems like SAP and Oracle for transaction processing, reporting, and data extraction is essential. Hands-on experience with VAT GL reconciliation tools such as Blackline, Cadency, Moses, or Arcs is required. Oversee manual journal entries, validation, posting, and audit trails. Deep understanding of VAT compliance, including form preparation and adjustments, is key. Execute and manage VAT GL reconciliation, including subledger-to-ledger reconciliations and reporting. Support revenue reconciliations and diligently monitor and resolve open items through timely journal entry preparation and processing. Utilize advanced Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis and reporting.

We are seeking candidates with a Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or CPA qualification, coupled with 4 years of experience, or a B.COM, M.COM, CA Inter, or MBA with 4 to 8 years of overall accounting experience. A thorough understanding of accounting processes and principles (IFRS) is necessary; US GAAP knowledge is advantageous. Familiarity with ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, or MS Business Central is expected. Excellent work organization, initiative, commitment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are crucial. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
