Join EY as a Manager in VAT Reconciliation to oversee multi-country corporate accounting processes. This role involves in-depth review of General Ledger, Trial Balance, and month-end procedures. You will play a crucial part in enhancing financial reporting quality and implementing robust control environments.

Take ownership of end-to-end accounting functions, including group accounting, financial reporting, and year-end closings. Ensure a strong grasp of GL, AP, and AR operations, guiding team members effectively.

Leverage expertise in ERP systems like SAP and Oracle for transaction processing and data reconciliation. Utilize VAT GL reconciliation tools such as Blackline, Cadency, Moses, or Arcs. Manage the preparation and validation of manual journal entries, maintaining audit trails.

Deepen understanding of VAT compliance, tax registers, and adjustments. Execute and supervise VAT GL reconciliations, supporting revenue integrity. Monitor and resolve open items, ensuring timely processing of journal entries. Employ advanced Excel and PowerPoint for detailed financial analysis and reporting.

We are seeking candidates with a qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or CPA, accompanied by 8 years of experience. Alternatively, candidates with a B.COM, M.COM, CA Inter, or MBA, and 8-12 years of overall accounting experience are encouraged to apply.

A comprehensive understanding of accounting principles like IFRS is essential, with US GAAP being a notable advantage. Proficiency in ERP systems, including Workday, SAP, and MS Business Central, is required.
