Lead and manage end-to-end client engagements, ensuring adherence to state and local tax regulations. You will conduct detailed reviews of amended returns, proactively resolve tax-related issues, and recommend process improvements. Acting as a key liaison, you will manage engagement activities for central and local EY teams, drive the adoption of new technologies, and ensure compliance with Ernst & Young's procedures.

We seek candidates with 4-10 years of professional experience in State compliance, VAT, or Accounts Payable/Receivable. A background in Commerce is preferred, with a strong foundation in federal and state taxation. Essential skills include excellent project management, analytical, and communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax applications like Corp Tax, One Source, or Go System is required. Experience with Indirect Tax, specifically VAT or Property Tax, is highly beneficial.
