Key responsibilities include reviewing and reconciling tax notices and bills, resolving discrepancies with tax authorities, and leveraging expertise in Sales Tax concepts and research tools like Vertex. You will handle complex data from various sources, provide technical guidance, and lead teams effectively through coaching and mentoring. Monitoring and incorporating changes in tax legislation and rates into monthly procedures is crucial. You'll also oversee return reviews, perform first-level sign-offs, and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Further responsibilities involve applying tax knowledge independently for tax computations and returns. You will exhibit inclusive behavior, possess strong communication skills, and contribute to budgeting, reporting, and billing. Driving process improvements and developing best practices are key. The ideal candidate will be a logical, process-driven thinker with strong analytical and detail-orientation.

To qualify for this role, a minimum of 3 to 6 years of domain experience is required, with a background in handling diverse teams and Sales and Use tax returns. A graduate or postgraduate degree in any stream is necessary. Proficiency in written and spoken English, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, is essential.

Ideally, candidates will also possess proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power Query and Power BI.
