As an Advanced Analyst, you will be instrumental in enhancing an existing ASP.NET Web Forms application. Your responsibilities will include identifying improvements in UI, data handling, and security, ensuring adherence to information security best practices, and conducting regular security assessments. You will also implement robust security measures, estimate technical efforts, and manage risks.

A key aspect of this role involves migrating the application to ASP.NET Core, ensuring a smooth transition. You will also focus on improving user experience by implementing client-side frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js, optimizing SQL queries for large datasets, and designing effective caching strategies. Development of a Web API layer and utilizing asynchronous programming patterns are also essential.

Analyze and enhance existing ASP.NET Web Forms applications, focusing on UI, data handling, and security. Ensure the application meets stringent information security standards and best practices. Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks. Implement critical security features such as data encryption and secure authentication protocols. Estimate technical effort, define work breakdown structures, and propose solutions for technical challenges. Migrate the application to the ASP.NET Core framework while ensuring full functionality. Enhance user experience and application responsiveness by integrating client-side frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js. Optimize SQL queries and data access methods for efficient handling of large data volumes. Design and implement caching mechanisms to boost application performance. Develop a Web API layer to effectively decouple the UI from the data access layer. Employ asynchronous programming techniques to improve application responsiveness. Implement data virtualization and batch processing for efficient management of substantial datasets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality technological solutions. Monitor application performance and user interactions to pinpoint bottlenecks and areas for enhancement.

Possess proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Web Forms, with practical experience in ASP.NET Core. Demonstrate solid working knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimization and data access patterns. Exhibit strong command of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience using AJAX. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Git version control systems is essential. Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation principles is required. Experience with caching strategies (e.g., Redis) and data virtualization/batch processing techniques is beneficial. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience, with a Master's degree being preferred. A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant professional experience is necessary. Certifications such as MCSD: AppBuilder, MCSA: Web Applications, or MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Development are highly regarded. Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and proposing effective solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, coupled with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
