We are seeking a dedicated Tax Advance Analyst to focus on Prevailing Wages & Apprenticeship (PWA) Credits within our Indirect Tax - Credits & Incentives (C&I) team. Coordinate and execute PWA and C&I compliance workstreams from initial planning through final delivery. Apply technical expertise in prevailing wages, registered apprenticeship, and tax incentive regulations to support engagement success.

Review and analyze critical data including certified payroll, wage and fringe benefits, worker classifications, workforce hours, and all supporting compliance documentation. Identify wage/fringe shortfalls, apprenticeship exceptions, data inconsistencies, and documentation gaps during quality reviews.

Provide technical guidance and constructive feedback to junior team members. Take ownership of assigned workstreams, trackers, workpapers, and project deliverables with minimal supervision.

Research and interpret relevant regulatory guidance, escalating complex issues to Managers. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders across different geographies to ensure timely completion of deliverables and resolution of outstanding items.

Support project management functions such as work planning, status reporting, budget tracking, and engagement administration. Identify opportunities for process enhancement, standardization, and automation within PWA and C&I engagements.

Develop and maintain essential resources like templates, methodologies, process documentation, and best practices for consistent execution. Coach and mentor Staff through practical guidance, knowledge sharing, and review feedback.

The Advanced Analyst role demands end-to-end ownership of assigned PWA/C&I workstreams with a high degree of autonomy. A strong working knowledge of PWA compliance requirements and engagement processes is essential.

Ensure the accurate, consistent, and timely delivery of all project deliverables. Perform first-level reviews of work performed by Staff and provide effective guidance. Proactively identify compliance issues and determine when escalation to Managers or technical experts is necessary.

Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external contractors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders as needed. Drive improvements in standardization, efficiency, and automation within your designated processes. Demonstrate strong accountability and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.

Contribute actively to the development of team capabilities and foster a culture of knowledge sharing. This role is pivotal in serving as an experienced PWA and C&I compliance professional, independently managing workstreams, reviewing deliverables, resolving compliance issues, and supporting Managers in delivering high-quality client engagements.
