This Tax Senior position within the Tax Compliance team offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact. You will be instrumental in supporting leadership, growing the practice, and ensuring seamless integration of changes across relevant processes.

Key responsibilities include developing a strong understanding of tax and tax accounting matters, managing client engagements from inception to completion, and overseeing project economics. You will mentor and supervise junior team members, interpret and comply with tax regulations, and proactively resolve tax-related issues.

Additional duties involve detailed reviews of tax returns, setting up and managing project workflows, and assisting in responses to tax audits. You'll also recommend tax strategies by researching federal, state, and local tax laws, and gain a deep understanding of client operations. Ownership of your schedule and proactive work-seeking are essential to meet utilization goals.

To excel in this role, you need at least 6-8 years of professional experience in corporation tax compliance, coupled with strong accounting skills and proficiency in US GAAP. A broad exposure to federal and state income taxation and a solid grasp of tax regulations are mandatory.

Essential attributes include excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, along with a dedication to exceptional client service. A Bachelor's degree in Commerce or ongoing pursuit of a Master's degree is required. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, along with average typing skills, is also necessary. Experience within a Big 4 firm or professional tax accounting is considered a valuable asset.
