Join the AWS Infrastructure Services team, the backbone of the cloud, ensuring the seamless operation of global data centers. We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Rack Lifecycle Technician to join our Rack Lifecycle Team. In this hands-on role, you will be instrumental in the physical installation, cabling, handover, and decommissioning of racks, transforming capacity plans into operational reality on the data center floor.

Your responsibilities include executing precise rack installations, structured cabling, and decommissioning activities according to AWS standards and SOPs. You will perform quality checks, update documentation in CMDB/DCIM, and escalate any issues promptly. This role also involves material handling, inventory management, and ensuring clean, documented handovers to Data Center Operations, all while adhering strictly to EHS protocols and safety practices.

We require candidates with a minimum of 2 years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience, coupled with 1+ year of computer networking experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience in rack decommissioning, device wiping, and asset recovery procedures, as well as the ability to manage customer interactions effectively under pressure.
