We are seeking a meticulous and technically adept Rack Lifecycle Tech to join our Rack Lifecycle Team. In this hands-on role, you will be instrumental in the physical installation, cabling, handover, and decommissioning of racks within our data centers, transforming capacity plans into operational reality with precision and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

Perform structured cabling, fiber/copper terminations, patch panel connections, and detailed labeling. Conduct OTDR and power testing, escalating any failures promptly. Execute physical decommissioning activities, including cable removal, power disconnects, and asset de-tagging. Perform device wiping and media destruction in compliance with AWS policies. Sort, label, and stage recovered assets for RMA, redeployment, or disposal, ensuring accurate capacity records.

Adhere strictly to all site-level SOPs, quality standards, and governance frameworks. Maintain and develop technical proficiency in structured cabling, fiber optics, and data center physical infrastructure. Participate in regular EHS audits and team safety briefings. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying quality issues and suggesting process enhancements. Accurately utilize Rack Lifecycle Team tooling for work recording and data integrity.
