We are seeking a dedicated Cabling Infrastructure Technician to manage and maintain the vital network infrastructure within our data centers. This role is crucial for ensuring the continuous operation and innovation that our customers rely on, supporting everything from servers to cooling systems.

As an ID-LB Cabling Infrastructure Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Upholding stringent data center security and safety protocols. - Performing installation and thorough testing of copper and fiber optic cabling. - Accurately creating and applying labels and barcodes for identification. - Utilizing test equipment such as power meters, light sources, OTDRs, VFLs, Fluke devices, and network analyzers for copper and fiber cabling. - Executing basic network device build and troubleshooting tasks. - Effectively managing material inventory, coordinating daily site deliveries. - Adhering to established escalation procedures and standard operating practices. - Working effectively in varied environmental conditions, including noisy, hot, and cold areas. - Regularly performing tasks at heights and from ladders. - Having prior experience with a ticketing system. - Traveling within the designated work area and occasionally working in confined spaces like under raised floors.
We are looking for candidates with:
- A Diploma or equivalent practical experience in a technical field. - 1-2 years of experience in project management or operations planning. - 1-2 years of hands-on experience with physical network infrastructure deployment and troubleshooting. - 1-2 years of experience specifically with network cabling, including both fiber optic and copper. - Effective English communication skills. - Fundamental knowledge of computer hardware and network cabling. - The ability to collaborate effectively in a team, manage time efficiently, and follow directions precisely. - The capacity to work at heights or use ladders for extended periods. - A strong focus on detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
