This role is part of a diverse engineering group focused on revolutionizing data center design. You will collaborate with experts in software, hardware, networking, and security to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Develop innovative solutions for physical layers within data centers, focusing on pathway, space, and cabling designs. Create detailed specifications for construction and permitting processes.

Engage with industry suppliers and manufacturers to define product requirements and explore cutting-edge technologies. Ensure the timely delivery of scalable fiber optic and copper plant designs. Review and approve ICT pathway, cabling, and equipment submittals, rapidly addressing risks and high-priority issues. Support new technology initiatives to enhance infrastructure quality and reduce costs. Travel approximately 10-20% to AWS data centers for project reviews and coordination.

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Demonstrate experience in industrial or commercial engineering within mission-critical facilities like data centers, power generation, or oil and gas.

Showcase experience in researching and implementing new data center designs, technologies, and construction methods. Proven ability in commissioning processes. Experience interpreting and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents is preferred.
