The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator, complemented by a solid understanding of IBM MQ, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), and foundational knowledge of Azure cloud services.
This role is crucial for ensuring seamless and secure data exchange within our organization.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining robust B2B integrations using IBM Sterling B2Bi. You will be instrumental in developing and supporting EDI maps, business processes, and managing partner onboarding activities. Integrating Sterling with various systems like ERP, APIs, and cloud-based platforms is a core function. You will also support REST/SOAP APIs, troubleshoot production issues with thorough root cause analysis, and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and external partners.
Participation in deployment, testing, and release cycles is expected. Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and operational procedures is vital. A good grasp of EDI/B2B integration concepts, database knowledge (e.g., SQL Server), and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Effective communication and stakeholder management are paramount.
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodologies will be advantageous for this role.
This position requires a strong background in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) development and support, including expertise in EDI standards such as X12, EDIFACT, XML, and Flat Files. Significant experience with XSLT transformations, mapping specifications, and the development of Sterling Maps and Business Processes (BPML) is mandatory. Proficiency in trading partner onboarding and configuration, alongside experience with communication protocols like AS2, SFTP/FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, and MQ, is expected.
Essential knowledge includes monitoring, troubleshooting, production support, and an understanding of security concepts like PGP, SSL certificates, and encryption. Basic knowledge of IBM MQ concepts, messaging architecture, queue managers, queues, channels, and message flow is required. Exposure to MQ-based integrations and asynchronous messaging patterns, along with the ability to work with MQ connectivity in Sterling and ACE environments, is crucial.
While not mandatory, a good-to-have understanding of IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) architecture, message flows, transformations, and enterprise integration patterns is beneficial. Basic familiarity with Azure services like Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Azure Monitor, along with knowledge of deployment concepts and hybrid integration architecture, would be a plus.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
