We are actively recruiting for a Hypervisor Systems Administration Senior Associate, a pivotal role for managing and enhancing our virtualized infrastructure.

This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in VDI systems integration, capable of delivering robust, efficient, and stable solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in supporting and managing large enterprise environments, possess strong communication and collaboration skills, and be adept at navigating ambiguity with a broad understanding of server and desktop virtualization.

Key responsibilities include managing escalated incidents from lower support levels and overseeing tasks and alerts, with a focus on responding to critical monitoring alerts and system outages.

You will be instrumental in assessing and implementing complex VDI and App Delivery Virtualization projects, utilizing various technologies. This involves supporting intricate system configurations and standards for Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms, as well as assisting team members with technical challenges within your expertise.

Developing repeatable standards and implementation processes is crucial for ensuring product uniformity and quality. You will engage directly with clients, account managers, and peers to support complex VDI/App Delivery environments, applying best practices and methodologies to large-scale projects. Maintaining support documentation, work instructions, and knowledge base articles is also a core duty.

This role demands an awareness of organizational and account structures to anticipate interrelationships. You will be expected to drive high-severity incidents within your scope and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, adhering strictly to Change Management and other ITIL processes. Accurate ticket documentation of support requests and troubleshooting steps is essential.

A minimum of 5 years of IT infrastructure technical implementation experience is required, alongside 5+ years of engineering and/or support experience with x86 technical offerings such as VMware, Microsoft, and Citrix.

Proven advanced experience in engineering and supporting highly available Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and/or Citrix DaaS, is highly preferred. Additionally, 3+ years of experience with Azure Virtual Desktop is necessary.

Basic knowledge of storage subsystems and server hardware fundamentals is expected. Familiarity with on-premise hypervisors like vSphere, XenServer, and Microsoft Hyper-V, along with SQL, is required; VMware Certified Associate (VCA) is highly preferred. Extensive skills in Windows Networking, Active Directory, and profile management are essential.

A thorough understanding of enterprise datacenter technologies, including Networking, Security, TCP/IP, SAN and NAS, and physical datacenter practices, is vital. You must demonstrate the ability to assess, implement, and troubleshoot IT Infrastructure systems and configurations using procedures, scripts, and templates.

Proven engineering expertise, including gathering requirements, problem-solving, and recommending solutions for mid-sized customer environments, is expected. A high level of customer satisfaction in all engineering engagements is a must. You should respect deadlines and procedures, possess strong listening and learning abilities, and exhibit excellent written and verbal English skills. Nice-to-have skills include Windows 365 and AWS Workspaces.
