We are seeking an HR Business Partner and People Operations specialist to be a strategic partner, driving people strategy and operational excellence. This high-ownership role involves shaping team structures, managing performance and culture, and ensuring the smooth functioning of HR systems and processes.

Sarvam collaborates with leading enterprises and public institutions, backed by prominent venture capital firms. We work with major Indian brands, focusing on developing AI solutions that cater specifically to India's needs.

Partner closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals. Advise on organizational design, performance management, and career development. Serve as a trusted advisor and change agent during periods of growth and transformation. Manage employee relations, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts. Oversee and enhance core HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance, exits). Evaluate and implement HRMS tools to support headcount growth and manage employee data, compensation, and performance. Ensure HR policies and labor law compliance are up-to-date and audit-ready. Support compensation and benefits administration, including data accuracy and benchmarking. Maintain and improve HR systems, dashboards, and reporting for leadership. Contribute to talent acquisition by providing workforce planning insights. Drive employee engagement, retention, and development initiatives in a fast-paced tech environment. Champion a high-performance, high-trust culture aligned with Sarvam's mission.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5–8 years of comprehensive HR experience, with at least 4 years in an HRBP or People Operations role. Demonstrated hands-on experience implementing HRMS/HRIS platforms (e.g., Darwinbox, Keka, Rippling, Lattice). Solid understanding of HR compliance and process design. Ability to manage both strategic discussions with leaders and detailed operational execution. Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving capabilities. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup or scale-up environment is advantageous.
