Our team comprises passionate engineers, scientists, and architects dedicated to empowering the world's most forward-thinking companies. We specialize in cutting-edge digital and software technology, tackling challenges from autonomous vehicles to advanced robotics across diverse industries.
This permanent role offers a dynamic career path with continuous opportunities for growth and development. Experience a work environment where every day presents new challenges and unique contributions are highly valued.
Your role will involve deep dives into DOCSIS 3.0/3.1/4.0 specifications, focusing on channel bonding and OFDM/OFDMA technologies. You will leverage your expertise in RF concepts, including signal levels, SNR, MER, and node optimization, to ensure optimal network performance.
Key responsibilities include IP networking proficiency (routing, switching, VLANs, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP), and utilizing tools such as SNMP, NetCool, JIRA, and spectral analysis software. You'll provide critical support to field technicians for complex troubleshooting and validate new plant construction.
Furthermore, you will configure, validate, and troubleshoot CMTS and RPDs within HFC and DAA environments. Hands-on experience with DOCSIS provisioning, modem registration, service-flow configuration, and performance validation is essential. You'll conduct in-depth RF analysis, diagnose issues with BCC, SAC, PTP, and RPDs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust HFC/DAA deployments.
We are looking for experienced professionals with a strong understanding of HFC and Distributed Access Architecture (DAA). Essential skills include in-depth knowledge of DOCSIS 3.0/3.1/4.0, RF principles, and IP networking protocols.
Proficiency with tools like SNMP, NetCool, JIRA, spectral analysis software, and traffic generators (IXIA/STC) is required. You should possess extensive hands-on experience in CMTS and RPD configuration, validation, and troubleshooting, as well as DOCSIS provisioning and RF analysis.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve RPD communication and synchronization issues, along with experience in PTP (IEEE 1588v2) troubleshooting, is crucial. Excellent documentation and communication skills are necessary for creating guides and procedures. Experience in designing and building test beds for HFC and DAA validation is also highly beneficial.
