EY seeks a Technical Lead for its Technology Consulting team, focusing on Guidewire implementation projects for global clients. This role is integral to shaping your future with confidence within a globally connected and diverse powerhouse.

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for contributing to various technical streams of Guidewire implementation projects. You will interface and communicate effectively with onsite coordinators, ensuring the planning and monitoring of project deliverables from your team. Additionally, you will mentor the project team in executing identified projects and provide regular status reporting to management and onsite coordinators. Engaging with customer representatives and being willing to travel to customer locations are also key aspects of this role.

As a team leader, you will foster a strong quality culture within the team and manage performance reviews for direct reports in line with organizational policies. Leading by example, you will promote teamwork and provide training and mentorship to project resources. Your involvement will extend to participating in organization-wide people initiatives, contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

We are looking for candidates with a BE, B.Tech, or MCA degree, complemented by 3 to 7 years of solid industry experience. Key mandatory skills include demonstrable knowledge and experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration, and experience within the Property & Casualty Insurance sector. Proficiency in either Personal Lines products (e.g., Auto, Property, Homeowners) OR Commercial Lines products (e.g., Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation) is essential. Technical expertise required encompasses Java 5+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT, strong Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System, and experience with Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic.

Real-time experience in enterprise system integration, preferably from an insurance background, is crucial. A solid understanding and experience in software development best practices are also required, along with excellent business communication and leadership skills. Prior client-facing experience is a must. Preferred experience includes Guidewire implementations and upgrades within the insurance sector.
