Join Google Cloud as a Workspace Sales Specialist, focusing on new business acquisition. You will be instrumental in expanding our productivity and collaboration offerings by cultivating and deepening relationships with both new and existing clients. This role offers the chance to deliver significant business value, showcase product capabilities, and highlight key business use cases. You'll manage daily interactions with internal teams and external customers, seeking innovative strategies to amplify team impact and drive overall value for Google Cloud.
As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, build strong customer relationships and navigate complex business cycles. Identify impactful solution use cases and influence the long-term strategic direction of accounts. Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas and strategic growth objectives, while meticulously forecasting and reporting on territory business performance. Collaborate effectively with Google account teams and cross-functional departments (e.g., Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Channels) to devise go-to-market strategies, boost pipeline, drive growth, finalize agreements, and ensure an exceptional prospect and customer experience. Develop and implement a robust territory development plan. Spearhead the prospecting, acquisition, and growth of new Workspace opportunities within your assigned territory, building customer relationships from the ground up while nurturing existing accounts.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. You must have at least 7 years of sales experience within the enterprise software or cloud sector. Demonstrated experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS), productivity, or collaboration technology solutions is essential. Proven success in achieving and exceeding business goals in a sales capacity is also a prerequisite. Preferred qualifications include experience collaborating with internal and external teams on account management and deal closure, expertise in prioritizing and planning solution-based sales within complex cycles, and a strong background in prospecting and building customer relationships, especially in greenfield territories. Knowledge of market trends in Cloud and Productivity and Collaboration solutions is a plus.
