This position is part of a global integrated service delivery network by EY, focused on enhancing client outcomes through managed services.

In this senior role, you will be pivotal in executing various phases of implementation projects. You'll lead and collaborate with team members to establish robust implementation plans and metrics, continuously monitor processes, and ensure stringent controls are in place. Performing risk analyses for each process, facilitating adequate resource training, and establishing clear communication channels with internal and external teams will be key to long-term success.

Responsibilities include detailed transition plan execution, encompassing risk assessments and milestone tracking. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of all transition activities, aligning with client requirements. Facilitating knowledge transfer and process documentation for operational continuity, along with monitoring and reporting on transition progress, are essential. Proactively identifying and resolving issues or bottlenecks will be critical. You will also engage with stakeholders at all levels, maintaining transparent communication and managing expectations throughout the transition lifecycle. Core project management duties encompass process implementation, preparing detailed and high-level project plans, volume ramp plans, knowledge transfer, communication plans, and governance plans.

We are seeking individuals with 3-9 years of professional experience in transition management, demonstrating a proven history of successfully leading transitions and transformations within Finance or Tax domains. Expertise in identifying and mitigating transition risks, coupled with the ability to develop resilient transition strategies and contingency plans, is essential.

Strong stakeholder management skills are paramount, including experience coordinating with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and operational handover. The capacity to work autonomously, prioritize multiple transition projects, and adapt to dynamic environments while upholding high-quality standards is expected.

Essential functional capabilities include a comprehensive understanding of transition lifecycle methodologies and project planning. Experience with transition management tools and platforms, particularly Microsoft Project or similar systems, is highly valued. An understanding of and ability to identify opportunities for deploying AI-based solutions to enhance transition management quality is desirable. Familiarity with Tax/Finance processes is preferred, along with proven experience managing stakeholders across various functions and levels. Sound knowledge of the MS Office suite is also required.

To qualify, candidates should possess 4-9 years of overall professional experience, with at least 1 year of client-facing experience. Experience in conducting client-facing transitions and transitions for Finance (Tax/F&A), Banking scope, or other Big 4 engagements is necessary. Project management certifications such as PMI – PMP, PMI – ACP, Agile certifications, Prince2, Six Sigma certifications, Safe, or Scrum certifications are preferred.
